We planned to go in April 2018 but in order to view the other sites we changed our mind and stayed in Catania, huge mistake!Perhaps we shall return to Sicily sometime.

We can tell you that declining the opportunity to eat spleen, you missed out on….. nothing! We tried it on our Palermo tour, and it really is up there with the worst things we’ve ever tried. We’ll try almost anything, but calves’ spleen was NOT a winner. Did you by any chance visit the catacombs, that’s a properly freaky place!
