I agree with the notion that one is often looking for that ‘je ne chest quoi’, that slice of ‘greener grass’, when one actually is already living in a wonderful place. I have learned, from moving around quite a bit that you need to make the most of where you are- immerse yourself in the culture and enjoy the simple day to day pleasures. I try to make my ‘home’ the place that I am in and it seems to work. Having just moved back to Italy I can now say that after 5 months, I feel at home again!
