By: John Eaton/2019/02/06/the-smallest-library-in-italy/comment-page-1/#comment-6289Mon, 11 Feb 2019 19:05:01 +0000/?p=16813#comment-6289You’ve done it again, Janet – opening up another priceless little gem, pouring interest, love, enthusiasm and education into our comparatively narrow and insular lives (in the sense that it is so easy to become wrapped up in one’s immediate surroundings, and spending so much time in a virtual or at least electronic world, that we forget how others still live lives of meaning, and first-hand,too. Still, even if we can’t all rush out to Basilicata tomorrow, it doesn’t matter as much, as we are now able to borrow your eyes, and at least get a pretty good flavour of parts of the world which not all of us will be so lucky to get to see first-hand.

It’s humbling to read your account of this travelling library. As someone who benefitted from the same sort of thing (although provided by the local council), I know how important it is. I have looked at the website but I cannot see where, so if, I can make a donation. I would like to so if you know of a way, could you let me know?
