Seeing the contrasting life positions of your niece and mother, do you ever feel you might get lost in the remembrance? Like many aspects of life, I picture nostalgia and memories as concepts along a continuum. And there are times when I find I get so preoccupied with the past, with what was, that I forfeit my opportunity to live today fully. It might be a bit presumptuous of me, but I’d like to thank you for your attention, on behalf of Lucy and Mary, two very fortunate females.

Hi Linda – I do appreciate your comments. I’ve had quite a tricky few weeks and it has really got me thinking alot………………funny how we always benefit from life’s experiences – even if they are more challenging than we might choose…
