A brilliant start to the spring/summer season in Venice as the city shimmers in her April mantle of high water and daily ‘caigo’ fog.

The weather is very variable, cool and misty in the morning and beautifully sunny in the afternoon. The wisteria is in bloom and the gardens are bouncing into life.

Our ‘Venice in Springtime’ has just finished and we are limbering up for Trieste; dispatching guests to airport, sad to be leaving, everyone has had a wonderful time. Siamo fortunate – abbiamo un lavoro molto speciale.
